Travis Kelce, while growing up in Cleveland Heights, says he became a big fan of Cedar Point on his family’s one or two annual trips to the amusement park.

Now, he's one of the park's latest investors.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end announced on Tuesday that he has partnered with JANA Partners in a new investment in Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. (Six Flags merged with Cedar Fair in 2024.)

JANA, Kelce, consumer executive Glenn Murphy and technology executive Dave Habiger grouped together to own an economic interest of about 9% in Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, according to a news release.

Travis and his brother Jason Kelce hyped up Cedar Point in a video accompanying the announcement.

“Cedar Point is Roller Coaster USA,” Jason said. “It is the premier roller coaster amusement park in the country.”

"It took me until I got to college, and then after college that, when I went back to Cedar Point, I could finally go on the Millennium Force and the Dragster and all these rides," Travis admitted.

He said in the video that the Raptor is his favorite roller coaster at the park. "Feet dangling, doing all the loops. It's the first ride as soon as you walk in, to the left," Travis said. "Shout-out to everybody in Ohio or anybody that's gone to Cedar Point."

The investment group aims to "enhance shareholder value and improve the guest experience," according to a press release.

Maybe we’ll see Travis and his fiancee, pop star Taylor Swift, exploring the park next summer.
