Chances are it's time for you to dip a painter's brush into a new hue. The average homeowner paints their living space every five years. Whether you go bold, go neutral or go gray (consumers can't get enough of the color), settling on a shade can be tough. "Consider the palette of your whole home before you renovate," says Sue Wadden, director of color marketing for Sherwin-Williams Co. "Look for colors that work together and create a broader palette." Wadden shares her favorites from the local company's 1,600 options.
