She offers these color trends and her favorite products to seal in and protect the hues:
- Dark to Light. In the past, this look meant you needed to get your roots done — not anymore. Darker roots and lighter ends are created with balayage — the process when color is painted freehand onto longer hair. It’s a low-maintenance, chic look that lasts anywhere from two to six months.

- Pastels: Think pink, lavender, blue and the like. Created using balayage, the rainbow effect has become quite mainstream.

- Goodbye Gray: Demi-permanent color is a popular way for those looking to blend out or get rid of gray hair. It’s also lower chemical with no ammonia and stains the hair with pigment.
