Settle in at Music Box Supper Club with Broadway star Daniel Reichard, known for his portrayal of Bob Guadio from the hit musical Jersey Boys. The Rocky River native’s annual holiday show stands on lively renditions of Christmas classics such as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Winter Wonderland.” But this is more than a classics show — for the second time in Cleveland, Reichard stretches across genres by sprinkling in Hanukkah songs, R&B tunes and musical hits from the Great American Song Book. $40 -$60. A Christmas Story
Don’t shoot your eye out before seeing this Christmas comedy and all its ice-licking, soap stuffing family drama unfold on stage. The Allen Theater welcomes attendees with the Festival of Trees, dozens of locally decorated trees standing in the lobby. Whether you’re wishing for a night at the theater or a Red Ryder air rifle, we triple dog dare you to ditch your own gift anxiety and dive into Ralphie’s imaginatively maddening world. The Gift of Lights
Even though your neighbor’s lights may stay lit through February, this one-of-a-kind display is worth the drive. The hour-long drive thru light show will have you seeing stars all weekend with more than thirty static and animated light displays, including a 100-foot-long tunnel entirely strung with multicolor LEDs. But the lights aren’t the only gift, a portion of the proceeds are donated to University Hospital’s Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. $20. Modern Electric
Sick of Christmas carols? Raise your beer to Modern Electric’s holiday anthem, “Northcoast Christmas,” where dads pray for the Cleveland Browns and we’re up to our ears in lake effect snow. Cavs vs. Warriors
We saw the Christmas jerseys, and although they are dangerously close to last year’s design we’re hopeful the outcome of this game will be the opposite of last year’s gut-wrenching 89-83 loss on the road. This time LeBron James and the rest of the Cavs are singing “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” and Cleveland’s still singing a faith-filled carol decked in our latest wine and gold after the June 19 victory against Golden State.
