The latest chapter in the Cleveland Browns ongoing saga of dysfunction could have been avoided by a simple email CC. If you’ve been avoiding Browns-related everything (and we certainly don’t blame you), the story goes like this: Minutes before the trade deadline, the Cincinnati Bengals agreed to send quarterback A.J. McCarron to Cleveland in exchange for a second- and third-round pick in 2018. However, the trade was rejected by the NFL because Cleveland's front office forgot to send an email confirmation before the 4 p.m. deadline.
The fans who are still following the local you-know-what show are understandably livid. Many of these fans took to Facebook to show their dissatisfaction with the organization. As of about noon today, the Cleveland Browns Facebook page had amassed more than 16,000 one-star reviews. Hundreds of these reviews came after the news of the botched trade broke. Since it’s better to laugh than cry, we assembled some of the best comments from the Cleveland Browns Facebook review page.Jeffrey Simko would rather be watching The View, but at least he’s regained his Sundays!
