LowDown Brass Band at Beachland Tavern
A hip-hop/jazz group, LowDown released a string of singles in 2023-2024 which led to the release of $itizens of the World. The band is featured on Spotify's All Funked Up Editorial and has an international tour scheduled this year that stops at Olympia Funk Fest, Electric Forest, Riverbeat Fest, Shakori Hills, Victoria Jazz Fest, Yosemite Bear Lake Fest, and the Palisade Music and Roots Fest. CIFF49 Opening Night at Connor Palace

Twelfth Night at the Hanna Theatre
When a violent shipwreck separates Viola from her boat and twin brother, she washes up on Illyria, an exotic island. She disguises herself as a boy messenger to pass herself off as a native. That, in a nutshell, is the plot of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. And like many of the Bard's play, misplaced affections and misunderstood intentions come into play.
