Celebrating 40 years of innovation and cultural progression as Spaces honors Peter and Barbara Galvin and Marilyn Ladd-Simmons at this year’s benefit. Jurassic Quest
Take an interactive trip back in time visiting a prehistoric eras of the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic periods at Jurassic Quest. With over 80 dinosaur exhibits, visitors can interact with and learn about the life-sized creatures — you can even give some of them a ride. Pick up your chisel, rock hammer and brush uncovering hidden dinosaur bones at the T-Rex and Triceratops Fossil Dig. With activities such as the Dino Bounce which include realistic scenes and dinosaur themed mazes, this attraction is sure to bring out the paleontologist in all of us. $18-$34. The Rocky Horror Show
First presented on Broadway by Lou Adler at the Belasco Theatre in New York City in March 1975, The Rocky Horror Show tells the tale of a newly engaged couple, Brad and Janet, seeking shelter at the home of a mad transvestite scientist, Dr. Frank N. Furter. While at the residence, the couple witnesses the unveiling of the creation Rocky, Transylvanians, and an assortment of other creatures and oddities. Audience participation is encouraged and proceeds benefit Millennial Theatre Project and LGBT Akron Arts Festival. $20.
