The Beachland Ballroom and Tavern's 21st Anniversary Open House
The historic Waterloo Arts District music venue is celebrating 21 years with an open house that highlights its impact on the Cleveland community since opening in 2000. The socially distanced open house shows off the venue's revamped bar and ballroom and recently expanded basement vintage shop This Way Out, which sells retro clothing, knick-knacks, a healthy vinyl collection and Beachland merch. Beck Broadway Alums in Concert via The Beck Center
Old friends of the Beck Center have come together to put on a special show that you can view from the comfort of your own home. Available to view starting this weekend, the concert features notable alumni of the Lakewood performing arts center who have gone on to roles in various Broadway shows, such as The Book of Mormon, Dear Evan Hanson, Wicked and others. The nine actors have returned to the Beck Center stage to present individual performances and share their experiences working in the theater world. Cleveland Comic Book and Nostalgia Festival
Relive your childhood this Sunday by visiting the 41st annual Cleveland Comic Book and Nostalgia Festival. Hosted by Harper Comics, this convention of all-things nerdy and nostalgic features different comic stores and toy shops with products on display. Special guests include Rob Roy villain Archie Cunningham, comic artists Ed Griffle and Robert Sheldone, and others. Snag a bite from on-site food trucks, and win big by entering a series of raffles and competing for prizes. In honor of Women’s History Month, this new exhibit at Bonfoey Gallery includes works from nine local female artists, including Kristen Cliffel, Susan Squires, Ryn Clarke and others. In an effort to highlight a diverse array of women artists in Cleveland area, the works on display include photography, ceramics, metal work and other mediums. Project Bloom at Canton Museum of Art
Tune in to Canton Museum of Art’s Facebook and Instagram page this Friday to view the official unveiling of its month-long Project Bloom collaboration. Inspired by the exhibit In The Garden: Nature’s Beauty From The CMA Collection, which is on display at the museum through March 28, the exhibit explores florals and vegetation through photography, paintings and other pieces.
