Cleveland Critical Mass April Ride
Feel a spring in your step now that the sun is slowly starting to shine? Start your weekend right with a group bike ride! At the end of every month, bicyclists from all over the city come together for this community bike ride around Cleveland before heading to a local restaurant for a shared dinner. April's ride will kick off from the southwest quadrant of Public Square, and end with bowling and brews at Mahall's 20 Lanes. This family-friendly event is open to riders of all ages and experience levels. Make sure to arrive before 6:30 p.m. so you don’t get left in the dust! Free. Kalman & Pabst’s Photo Group Fine Art Show
On a Friday night, are you more interested in discovering the city's latest masterpiece than heading to E. Fourth Street? If that’s the case, check out the fine art show put on by Kalman & Pabst’s Photo Group. Though photographs are the focus, anything is fair game at this show, with artists showcasing pieces ranging from photos to paintings to full-scale installations (check out the photo above for a small sample). The exhibition is designed to encourage the gallery's staff to nurture their creative talents outside of the workday, and these works are the fruits of their labor. Verb Ballets' Spring Series
Spin into spring. For the first time, Verb Ballets will be hosting their Spring Series at the University of Akron's E.J. Thomas Hall. The series will showcase a diverse range of dances: pieces such as Eight by Benny Goodman will mix together the art of ballet with the tradition of ballroom dancing, set to orchestral music from the 1940s.
