Twelfth Night at the Hanna Theatre
When a violent shipwreck separates Viola from her boat and twin brother, she washes up on Illyria, an exotic island. She disguises herself as a boy messenger to pass herself off as a native. That, in a nutshell, is the plot of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. And like many of the Bard's play, misplaced affections and misunderstood intentions come into play. Blackmail at Cleveland Public Library
The Cleveland Silent Film Festival hosts this screening of the Alfred Hitchcock classic. The film will be accompanied by a live score performed by the Cleveland Photoplayers, led by pianist Eric Charnofsky and featuring some of the top instrumentalists currently working in Northeast Ohio. The ensemble was established expressly for the series, and the Blackmail screening will be the Cleveland Photoplayers’ debut performance. Fourth Annual Ben Caskey ’22 Memorial Scholarship Benefit Concert at the Winchester
Tim Caskey's son Ben Caskey passed away unexpectedly in 2022 from a congenital heart defect. He was a senior at Baldwin Wallace University, and his family started a scholarship in his name. For the third year in a row, Tim Caskey's band, Serious Nature, will play a special fundraising concert at the Winchester Music Tavern to raise funds for the scholarship.
