Do some shopping at the West Side Market, have lunch at Great Lakes Brewing Co., and then spend time in Market Square Park browsing the Cleveland Bazaar, the longest-running handmade market in Cleveland. “It’s an all-day endeavor for a lot of people,” says founder Shannon Okey. The Bazaar’s summer event series takes place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on the first and third Saturdays of each month through October. Also keep an eye out for its four holiday shows Nov. 27, Dec. 5, 11 and 12. Since its start in 2004, the Bazaar has featured between 25 and 140 vendors at each show. “We have a broad, broad spectrum of makers,” Okey says. “Name a category, we’ve got it.” Check out The ExCB for watches made from scratch, Akron Honey for the locally made sweet condiment and Snakes & Acey’s for hand-designed, hand-printed shirts, tote bags, coasters and more. 2501 Market Ave., Cleveland, clevelandbazaar.org
