Say Yes to some nontraditional wedding dresses at bridal boutique Moon and Back's trunk shows this month.

Owner Christen Schneider invites three independent designers into her Lakewood store and gives us a quick fit on each.

April 1 - 11:

The classic, vintage feel of Seattle's Cicada Bridal often comes with a bit of twist such as flowery lace or lining. Whether open back or corset, the fluid, handmade dresses are perfect for busting a move on the dance floor. "They do a really good job with the fit and construction of the dresses," says Schneider.

April 9 & 10:

Playful touches such as studs or lace give Claire La Faye dresses a nontraditional bend. "She does some really amazing romantic, artistic dresses," says Schneider. "But her details make them really pretty." Expect hand-painted watercolor on satin or all gray, black and pink dresses from the Portland, Oregon, label.

April 15 - 24:

Individuality takes on an urban, edgy style with Anya Dionne dresses. Modern flares such as dip-dyed sequins or hand-painted dresses with white and lavender accents are feminine and flattering. "You may find a crop top that ties off or a lace top with a sequin skirt," says Schneider.
