Mapleside Farms To Expand With The Social House, a New Winery

Mapleside Farms is ringing in 99 years of farming and family this year with new attractions and venues.

“Fall 2026 is going to be a huge season at Mapleside Farms,” said Mapleside Farms co-owner Greg Clement in a news release. 

The Social House, a winery, brewery and eatery, is set to hold its grand opening this fall and will remain open year-round. Guests will be able to enjoy a glass of cider, wine or craft beer while taking in the view of Mapleside’s 100-plus acres. 

“We're taking this idea of craft wine, beer and cider to a new level," said Kelly Clement, Mapleside Farms co-owner, in a news release.

Many of the Social House’s wines will be made from vineyards located on the farm, according to a news release. Mike Piazza, a partner with the Social House and an award-winning brewer, crafted the drink program, while chef Rob Romph has focused on making quality shareable dishes.

The Social House is split into three sections: The Great Room, with open seating and live music; The Press, with a light and airy gathering space that sells coffee and pastries in the morning and cocktails and wine in the evening; and The Library, located in the former gift shop, with a dark and luxurious space for gatherings and private events.

"For nearly a century, families have made memories here, and many people still remember when they could visit the farm simply to enjoy the view, share something to eat and spend time with one another,” Greg Clement said in the news release. “The Social House brings that spirit back in a fresh way." 

Mapleside Farms’ popular Pumpkin Village kicks off Sept. 12, featuring the new Jurassic Fest, with more than 40 dinosaur replicas lurking in the woods. Along with a few new prehistoric friends, the village will bring back old favorites like its themed weekends, pumpkin picking, a corn maze, a haystack mountain, duck races, a 311-foot slide and scenic hayrides. 

Other themed weekends include “Princess and Pirates” Sept. 19-20, where kids can partake in royal or swashbuckling adventures. “Hometown Heroes” weekend, Sept. 26-27, honors active or retired veterans, doctors, teachers, nurses, firefighters and police officers by offering them free admission. Other themed weekends include “Wild Wild, West” (Oct. 24-25) and “Spooky Fest” held on Halloween weekend (Oct. 31-Nov. 1).

A wine-themed corn maze experience will also take place on Fridays and Saturdays this season. Guests will be able to wander through seven acres of corn and stop at wine and beer stations scattered throughout the maze. This year, to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, the corn maze is in the shape of a giant bald eagle.   

“And all of this is leading into 2027, when Mapleside Farms celebrates its 100th anniversary,” Clement adds.
