What feels like just a few months ago, Machine Gun Kelly lit up FirstEnergy Stadium as he ziplined into a sold-out crowd of eager Clevelanders.

The rapper-turned-rocker was back home, and the city — mostly — welcomed him with cheered roars and outstretched arms.

On Saturday, May 13, locals can relive that raucous night in The Land with the release of Machine Gun Kelly: Mainstream Sellout Live from Cleveland: The Pink Era — a theatrical release of the live event, including a behind-the-scenes look at the namesake tour.

The eponymous album for which the tour supported hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and garnered a 2023 Grammy nomination for Best Rock Artist.

Sam Cahill, the director for Kelly’s 2022 documentary Life in Pink, also directed the upcoming tour film. It also marks the first feature-length piece to come from publisher Trafalgar Releasing.

“Machine Gun Kelly’s remarkable journey from Cleveland to meteoric superstardom and back to where it all began gives us an unfiltered look at the emotion and rawness of coming home,” says Kymberli Frueh, SVP of programming and content acquisitions for Trafalgar Releasing, in a press release. “We are so lucky that this moment was captured so it can be shared with fans across the globe.”

According to the news release, Kelly became the first Ohio native to sell out FirstEnergy Stadium when he packed a crowd of roughly 50,000 into the space.

You can still experience the momentous occasion via the YouTube upload of the concert from Kelly’s official channel — though you’ll miss those moments behind the curtain that fans can only get from the upcoming theatrical release.
