Stream Little Fires Everywhere
Now may be a good time to finally invest in that Hulu subscription. The critically acclaimed book written by Cleveland-native Celeste Ng has been adapted into a show and is set to premiere this weekend. The story takes place in the familiar neighborhood of Shaker Heights, where two mothers unveil mysteries from each other's families after a sudden house fire breaks out. Whether you’ve read the book or not, this gripping story alludes to many Cleveland places and has interesting characters that are now being played by actors Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington. hulu.com

Rock out to a virtual concert

Thanks to an initiative started by local singer-songwriter Michelle Gaw your favorite artists can now bring you live performances online. This series is designed to help local singer-songwriters and working musicians make up for the income lost as venues and bars are forced to close their doors. This Friday's Virtual Shows CLE, the third event, features music by Ray Flanagan, Madeline Finn and Austin Walkin' Cane. To participate in the virtual show, sign up for Zoom Cloud Meetings and send an e-mail to virtualshowscle@gmail.com. March 20, 8 p.m., $5 suggested donation, facebook.com/events

Shop at a virtual market
In addition to artists and restaurants, the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting local vendors and makers, who rely on selling products through flea markets and craft shows. To help alleviate some of the loss, Cleveland’s chapter of Creative Babes is hosting a virtual market with more than 40 independent vendors selling jewelry, houseware, art and more. The virtual market launches on March 20th and will stay live indefinitely. March 20, 5 p.m., facebook.com/events, creativebabes.com

Read Rust Belt Femme
A good book can help make sense of things as well as provide an escape during trying times. The newest release by Belt Publishing comes in the form of a raw memoir by Raechel Anne Jolie, who outlines her struggles growing up working-class after her family experienced trauma. She explores how her leaning into Cleveland's alternative scene helped her explore her queer identity in the 90's. The book is currently on sale through Belt's website, along with other well-known local titles such as Midwest Futures or the Cleveland Neighborhood Guidebook. beltpublishing.com

Listen to Michael Ruhlman’s cooking podcast
As more of us stay home, we not only need to stay entertained but also think of new creative home-cooked meals. Cleveland native, chef and author Michael Ruhlman will inspire you to take on the art of cooking through his new podcast From Scratch.
