Abigail Archer, assistant art director
Gale's Garden Center plants ($7), Petitti Garden Center's planters ($12 and $15)
I love the bright, spring-like energy that these plants bring to my living space, and the pots are a perfect neutral complement to the fresh green. Gale’s Garden Center has a cozy greenhouse atmosphere with a ton of affordable plant options that range from beginner-friendly to exotic and rare finds, and Petitti Garden Center always has all of the accessories that I need for my growing plant collection. These small potted plants are the perfect size to keep on your home office desk or on the kitchen counter to brighten up the room without taking up too much space.”

Kali's Creations

Becky Boban, editorial assistant

Kali's Creations' Tea Tree & Rosemary soap bar ($6)
After listening to Khalilah Williams describe her scrumptious, swirly soap, I knew I wanted to try one of her creations. I decided on the Tea & Rosemary bar, since Northeast Ohio’s winter weather annually makes a mockery of my skin. What I was unprepared to fall in love with was the clean, citric scent of the heart-shaped sample of Turmeric & Lemongrass —which will probably be my next purchase from Kali’s. kaliscreations.com

Avalon Exchange

Henry Palattella, associate editor

Jacket from Avalon Exchange ($25)
I’m working on strengthening my layer game, and this jacket is the first step of what will hopefully be a fire fit. Found at one of Northeast Ohio’s best secondhand stores, its corduroy exterior (along with lined interior) lets it do double duty as an additional layer on a cold day or as the final part of a spring fit. avalonexchange.com

Atomic Tangerine

Maria Serra, digital editor and events coordinator

Atomic Tangerine's Pink Crochet Top ($55) and funky candles ($15)
Based in Youngstown, Atomic Tangerine is the one-stop-shop for your all your crochet needs. Artist Alison Green is an advocate for slow fashion, and along with sharing her art, uses her platforms to promote sustainable fashion. I am personally obsessed with the pink crochet crop top I purchased from her. (I know, I know…we live in Cleveland, so I have a small window to wear it– but I look amazing when I do!) Along with her own crochet tops, sweaters, scarves, hats and bags, she also makes adorable candles perfect for an added funky flair to your bookshelf, dresser, etc. Trust me when I say, I have one of her candles in every room of my apartment. Not only do I appreciate Green’s art, I love the ethos behind it. You can visit her on her website, Etsy page and Instagram profile. atomictangerineclothing.com

Spoiled Dog Boss

Dillon Stewart, senior editor

Spoiled Dog Boss’s Organic Pork Bark Dog Treats ($9)
We love spoiling our pup, but unfortunately, Milk Bones make our little dog sick. Luckily, she loves the treats from this Willoughby-based maker with a dedication to great ingredients. Sushi loves the pork bark treats, made with pineapple, turmeric, pepper and organic pork heart, liver and kidney. We always pick them up at Sunday Doggy Brunch at Terrestrial Brewing Co. spoileddogboss.com
