As part of the future re-imagining of East Fourth Street, the current valet station will next year be moved and replaced with a DORA-friendly pocket park alongside a new seasonal bar called The Dugout, from the folks behind Downtown's Geraci's Slice Shop, Downtown Willoughby's The Yard on Third, STEAK Tremont and the upcoming Jolene's honky tonk bar.
East Fourth will next summer be activated as a DORA, or designated outdoor refreshment area, where patrons can wander the street with beverages in hand. The new park, MRN promises, will be a place where you can sit, enjoy, and hang out.

“The DORA Park gives us a wide range of exciting opportunities to further connect East 4th and the Entertainment District to the millions of visitors annually to the hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues in and around the Gateway District," Jonathan Seeholzer, vice president of operations for MRN Family of Companies, said in a press release.
And visitors won't have to look far for those refreshments, as the appropriately named Dugout will open inside/next to the park.
“We want the Dugout to be a gathering place, a meeting place, for all of Downtown Cleveland to enjoy before or after an event, a dinner, a game, a day at work, or just visiting the city,” says Jason Beudert, president of Hangry Brands.
Alongside beverages, expect family-friendly fare and a planned ice cream stand.
Look for a mid-2025 debut.
