Pterosaurs: Flight in Age of the Dinosaurs
In a land before time, flying reptiles soared above dinosaurs such as the T. Rex and the brachiosaurus. Called pterosaurs, these creatures were the first vertebrates to achieve flight. While some were small enough to lie in the palm of your hand, others utilized a 25-foot wingspan to ride the sky. Discover more at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s new exhibit, Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of the Dinosaurs. I-X Indoor Amusement Park
Every Ohioan knows the jingle. The I-X Indoor Amusement Park is a spring staple that’s finally open for the season from March 23 to April 15. In the wake of the melee that caused the park to close early last year, the I-X Center has instituted some new rules to protect the fun, namely that no one under 18 will be allowed in the park without an adult after 5 p.m. With over 100 rides and attractions, plus family-friendly shows like the Sea Lion Splash Show and Jungle Terry's Traveling Zoo, this indoor fun zone is built for memory-making. $22. In the wake of the Vietnam war, a veteran and his family ring in Independence Day with a bang. But the fireworks don’t stop on the Fourth of July, as the rural Missouri clan grapples with squandered dreams and deep-seated resentment. This play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lanford Wilson will introduce the Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Playhouse MFA Acting Program’s Class of 2020. The production paints the picture of a generation seeking guidance and atonement in a time of turmoil. $15-$20. Bunny Run with the Easter Bunny
All aboard! This unique Easter event will have you and your tyke hopping the train to hang out with the Easter Bunny as he hands out sweet treats to children. This event is hosted by the Midwest Railway Preservation Society, a group of volunteers dedicated to preserving vintage railroad cars and equipment for public education. The blue-eyed-soul crooner will be stopping in March 31 for his “Man of the Woods” tour to help Cleveland bring sexy back.
