There’s no better feeling than finding that one special, handmade item while browsing through an outdoor flea market.
This summer, Made Cleveland aims to bring that long-awaited feeling back with its monthly Summer Market at Van Aken in June, July and August.
On Aug. 14, catch its last market of the summer from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. while enjoying food from local restaurants in the area. Organizers plan to have around 30 vendors that carry everything from stationery, handcrafted jewelry, graphic art pieces and more.
“We want to keep the product and vendor mix fun and fresh,” says Ash O’Connor, founder of Made Cleveland, which started out as an online market for local makers.
“So we’re going to have some repeat buyers throughout the season, but you’ll see a lot of new faces.”
