The Great Inflatable Race
Running isn’t daunting when you’re rushing down a 69-foot-long, two-story-high slide at the start of the course. The Great Inflatable Race sets up eight bouncy obstacles for you to tackle, including winding tunnels and enormous swinging balls along a 2-mile track around North Ridgeville’s Victory Park. “Everybody loves the inflatables,” says event leader Molly Bitton, “but it also just breaks up the monotony of running.” 7777 Victory Lane, North Ridgeville, thegreatinflatablerace.com

Full Moon Trail Series
Based on the full moon cycle, this race treks through 4 miles of the Bedford Reservation in night mode. “Trail running is generally better for your body because there is less impact,” says race manager Haleigh Bartlett. “To run with the full moon is so cool because it is still bright out, but it is nice and cool outside too.” Egbert Picnic Area, Buckeye Trail, Bedford, 216-623-9933, hermescleveland.com

Hofbrauhalf
Break out your best lederhosen for this German-themed race. After you run 13.1 miles, a beer and a bratwurst are waiting at the finish line. Keep the party going at Hofbrauhaus Cleveland, where you’re encouraged to dance as Bavarian bands play. “There’s not much a beer and a brat can’t fix,” says race manager Matt Peters. “But it’s also cool to be able to hang out with the other runners and chill out after a long race.” 1550 Chester Ave., Cleveland, 216-623-9933, hofbrauhalf.com
