Handcrafted Shopping Guide: Boundary & Thorn

Many of us go through our daily life with a cup of coffee in tow. Boundary & Thorn owner Lucy Williams percolated on that notion, coming up with a clever way to pay homage to the buzz beverage. Her Coffee Punnie Print ($20) is a humorous hand-drawn pictogram of the hottest cup-of-joe jokes — think a coffee mug with “I love you a whole latte” written beneath and more. “I love seeing people go up to the print, read it and start busting out laughing,” Williams says. All of her prints are hand-drawn on her iPad and printed locally. While she started out drawing prints of different cocktails, she was inspired for this piece by all the coffee shops popping up in Cleveland. “Who doesn’t know someone that loves coffee and puns?” she asks. “It’s a conversation piece that gives everyone a good laugh.” boundaryandthorn.com
