Find two hours of new tunes, all crafted in Northeast Ohio — and all in this month’s edition of the Cleveland Current playlist, curated by Cleveland Magazine.
Tune in. You’ll hear:
- a new bop from Poro’s dreamy Let Me Love You EP
- “Crash and Burn,” a simmering new single from Nuke Franklin and DJ Red-I
- a rocker from Hosta’s atmospheric new Falling Out EP
- a heavy prog-metal breakdown from Khandria’s EP Point of Contention
- a taste of Breathe in Stereo’s unique synth-driven, self-titled album
- Stakhouse’s debut song, featuring Max Stakolich, named a Cleveland Magazine Most Interesting Person of 2025
- a catchy hip-hop collaboration between Fascin8 and SunnOfRa
... and more.
A highlight includes Chayla Hope’s impressive new album Mess of a Woman, which arrived on Feb. 21 and which follows her 2022 debut album Damn, Feelings.
Don’t miss the new album’s colorful, unique vinyl release on the local Wax Mage label or Hope’s beer collaboration with Saucy Brew Works.
The new project compiles a series of singles that Hope released last year, along with some brand-new pop music. Pieced together, the batch of impactful, polished tracks has a story behind it.
“The title Mess Of A Woman comes from a hate comment I got online: ‘What a voice, what a tattooed mess of a woman,’” Hope shared in a news release. “Instead of shrinking from it, I decided to own it. This album is me embracing every piece of who I am — producer, songwriter, artist, human — and turning it into something powerful.”
