Rice’s Nursery and Landscaping Inc. of North Canton created a landscape to showcase more than 400 varieties of hosta at a Uniontown home. The goal was to create unique ways to display the hosta from different vantage points and provide easy access to the back yard from the driveway. The garden sits on a steep slope along the side of the house, which made it difficult to access the back yard before.
Rice’s Nursery created paver landings and walkways that flow away from the side of the house and draw the eye toward the gardens. Circles and curves within the paving and walls softened the straight lines of the house.

Wheeler Landscaping Inc. of Chagrin Falls created a display garden for the 2005 Cleveland Botanical Garden Flower Show. The garden radiated out of an urn water feature.
DTR Associates Inc.
Merit
DTR Associates Inc. of Aurora created a Mexican exhibit at the Cleveland Home and Flower Show at the I-X Center. The exhibit contains the colors of Mexican landscaping.
