Denisha Anderson has turned Cleveland Flower Walls into what might just be the region’s most Instagram-worthy backdrops.
Packed with rows of silk sunflowers, roses, peonies and greenery such as eucalyptus leaves, the 8-foot by 8-foot walls (“I like to go big,” adds Anderson) have popped up around town on the rooftop lounge at Metropolitan at The 9, the Cleveland Flea, Beachwood Place and plenty of weddings, attracting lines of people waiting to snap a selfie.
The company launched in January, shortly after Anderson spotted a flower wall on Pinterest and DIYed one for her own wedding. She wasn’t expecting it to blow up, but these days she spends up to a week hand-setting each flower onto a wall, which are each custom cut and built for each order in her downtown showroom.
“They’re something you can have when there’s a blizzard outside to still get that summer vibe at your event.” instagram.com/cleflowerwalls
