Bridge art
Normally, the last place we'd send you to get your art fix is under a bridge. But the chance to see Cleveland native Natalie Lanese's panoramic collage of historical images of the city's bridges, buildings and people layered over neon yellow and pink, can't be passed over. Her work is part of LAND Studio's Innerbelt Project Mural Art Program, which sought to install public art on the overpass walls of the new $293 million bridge as it dips through downtown, over the river and into Tremont. Three winning artists - all with Cleveland ties - were selected out of more than 150 national submissions that LAND Studio project director Tiffany Graham and her colleagues received. "[The artists] came at this from a place of great pride in being Clevelanders and really saw the project as an opportunity to get to connect," she says. "I hope that the artwork demonstrates that very specific love of a place that we're all from." land-studio.org
