Even if you aren't homebrewers like Brittany Boettner and Alec Vink, you can still tap into their handcrafted beer flight board ($50). "The first beer flight board we made [was] for us," Vink says. "We wanted a better way to share and taste our homebrews." The project was so successful that Vink now constructs boards from a single piece of wood for Fourth Coast Design Co., the home decor company the duo launched in 2014. Working with a local mill in Tremont, Vink uses repurposed woods such as cherry or ash and leaves the natural bark edge as an artistic statement. "It looks great on the table or as decoration on the wall," he says. With four holders, four tasting glasses and a leather strap, it's a creative way to explore some new brews. "We love craft beer, and Cleveland has plenty to offer," he says, "but serving and tasting our homebrews in our beer flight is still our favorite." 614-493-6121, fourthcoastdesignco.com
