We’ve watched our fair share of furniture rehabs on HGTV. While it’s inspired us to get creative, we’ve yet to pick up a paintbrush. That’s not the case with Heck’s Revival owner Caley Coleff. Her 750-square-foot Lakewood store is filled with vintage finds she transformed: a crystal chandelier made modern with a fresh coat of turquoise paint or a set of 1970s chrome barstools sporting cushions covered in a trendy tile pattern. “I’m a fabric hoarder,” confesses the 30-year-old Amherst native, who’s used everything from fabric shower curtains to ladies’ skirts for upholstery. As a kid, Coleff developed the ability to repair, refinish and reupholster everything vintage during summers spent garage-sale hopping with her Grandma and Grandpa Heck. Ideas for refurbishing her finds, however, are born of a self-described over-the-top taste that favors Hollywood regency over more sedate styles. “I make stuff that I would want to put in my house,” she says. “It doesn’t really matter how old it is as long as it’s cool.” 17140 Madison Ave., Lakewood, 216-221-8221, facebook.com/hecksrevival
