Bibliophiles, get ready to bow down. The newMedina Library reopened this year after two years and more than $20 million in renovations. Grab any of the branch’s quarter-million or so titles and head straight to the second-floor Quiet Reading Room. There, perched in a comfy leather chair next to a roaring fire, you can read in silence before a panoramic view of downtown Medina’s historic buildings, framed in 180 degrees of curved, floor-to-ceiling windows. Tucked behind the reference section, far from the hubbub of the lobby and busy children’s area, it’s quiet enough to make even the rustle of a page feel like a disruption. 210 S. Broadway, Medina; (330) 725-0588; medina.lib.oh.us
