Gallo, Anthony (Tony)
President & CEO
Lorain County Chamber of Commerce
Education: Bowling Green State University, bachelor’s degree
Toughest Challenge: Overcoming my father’s death when I was a 17-year-old high school student
Most Inspiring Person: My Uncle John. Everyone called him Uncle John. He worked at Moen for 46 years.
Best Advice: Go to the funeral and pay respects to the family. Death is a part of life and while we “need” to go to family funerals, when you attend a funeral to support a friend, co-worker, neighbor or schoolmate, they will remember you were there, and it will mean the world to them.
Proudest Moment: Being asked to be a godfather to two nephews and one niece
What Keeps Me Up at Night: Worrying about small businesses struggling to stay open in a post-COVID-19 world
Most Important Skill: I can diffuse a bad situation by staying calm.
