Greatest Inspiration: My daughter, Elizabeth, who travels through life on the autism spectrum. All of the challenges notwithstanding, she greets each new day with her shy smile and a sense of determination. She reminds me that one can find joy just about anywhere.

Important Lesson Learned: Life comes at you fast and has a way of making a mockery of even the best-laid plans. I now set aside the delusion of control and focus on paying attention, being flexible, rolling with the punches and living out my values regardless of how conditions around me change.
Who’d Play Me in a Biopic: I used to get the comment that I resemble the now little-known actress, Jeanne Tripplehorn.
