“It’s easy to get overwhelmed in this profession. It’s impossible to know everything. You need to learn what
your strengths are and play to
those strengths.”
Always strong in math, it wasn’t until Michelle O’Gara encountered the accounting professors at Bellarmine University that she got excited about the profession, the influence she could have, and all the strategy and analysis behind the numbers. After graduating, she spent 10 formative years at a firm in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, before moving to Cleveland to marry her husband and blend their family of five boys ranging in age from 8 to 15.
“I’ve been very fortunate to have amazing role models who believed in me and knew how to motivate and inspire me to get me where I am today.”
