"Elephants!"

For 50 million years, members of the elephant family have inhabited the earth. The Cleveland Museum of Natural History gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the lineage of the elephants, the extinctions of the mastadons and mammoths and the present-day environmental obstacles African and Indian elephants must overcome to survive.

The exhibit also includes a fossils that visitors can excavate themselves.
