If you believe a drink or two gets your creative juices flowing, Sippin' in the Studio and Colors and Bottles will help you test that theory. The classes are a mix of art instruction and happy hour. We paint a picture of both.
Sippin' in the Studio
WHERE: Art House Inc., 3119 Denison Ave., Cleveland WHEN: Fourth Thursday of the month, 7-9 p.m. HOW MUCH: $35 + supplies fee (wine included) MORE INFO: 216-398-8556, arthouseinc.org
WHAT TO EXPECT: "We do a lot with clay, so it's dusty and dirty. It's an active space for art," says Art House executive director Amy Craft. Enjoy two glasses of red or white wine and light snacks while the instructor teaches a technique, then begin creating.
Colors and Bottles

WHAT TO EXPECT: Learn painting basics Bob Ross-style as you follow the instructor's lead. "If people get frustrated, they can always throw back another drink," says vice president of operations Spencer Mustine. Buy drinks and snacks, or BYOB to spots that allow it.
THIS MONTH: Bring your favorite Great Lakes brew and celebrate summer early by recreating a sea and sky at Wolff Bros. Supply May 6, or go with a forest scene May 21 at West Park Station.
