The ear-piercing beats, shoves and spilled beers from moshers at electronic dance music fests can be a bit intense. But EDM lovers looking to bop along to the oontz, oontz thumps without the party fouls can still find their groove with the Blacklight Slide. The 200-foot inflatable water slides, which come to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds Sept. 10, combine radio-edited EDM tunes with neon-glowing splashes of water for a fun bash that you could bring your momma and kiddos to. “Sometimes [kids] get up there, and they’re a little intimidated,” says media manager Justin Muir. ”But as soon as they go, they’re just screaming for joy all the way down.” Keep the fists pumping and bust out the glow sticks at the PG-rated post-slide celebration with a DJ spinning songs among 60 flashing blacklights and hundreds of paint-splattered revelers. “We call it ‘the most mild night you can have,’ ” says Muir. “ ‘Mild’ because it’s family friendly, but it kind of pushes that boundary.” $50, 164 Eastland Road, Berea, blacklightslide.com
