The smell of barbecue sauce on a May morning can mean only one thing: The Great American Rib Cook-off & Music Festival is here and summer is not far behind.
This year's festival includes 13 ribbers from the East Coast and Midwest, as well as live entertainment from Grand Funk Railroad, Hall & Oates and Kenny Wayne Shepard Band, among others.
As always, ribbers will vie for several awards including "Greatest Ribs in America," "Greatest Sauce in America" and the "People's Choice Award."
