GardenWalk Cleveland
Stop and smell the roses, literally, at GardenWalk Cleveland. This self-guided tour offers participants the opportunity to pick a neighborhood (Detroit Shoreway, North Collinwood, Slavic Village or West Park) and explore its private and community gardens, orchards, vineyards and even urban farms. If that wasn’t enough to choose from, each neighborhood is also hosting special events, ranging from an interactive children’s garden at the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland to a Collinwood community potluck. Cain Park Arts Festival
Forty years ago, this juried art fair had only 10 tables. Today, more than 150 artists set up to show off their goods. Although 25 spaces are reserved for previous years’ award winners, many of the vendors are first-timers. Try your hand at predicting which of these newbies will be the next big winner. Later, make your own art at the community mural space or the Cleveland Museum of Art’s mobile studio. Tall Ships
Landlubbers rejoice: This weekend you have a chance to gain your sea legs at the Tall Ships festival. Climb aboard to tour numerous tall ships. If you’re even braver, sign up for a day sailing adventure. Organic Pup Brunch
Pamper your pup at Public Square. Rebol, a health-conscious Cleveland cafe, is catering to a new group of customers: dogs. Organic pup breakfast bols, which contain a hearty combination of veggies and protein, are available for $5. Pet photographer Greg Murray will be taking live action shots of the pups. Beatles Classic Rock at Lake View Cemetery
Classic rock may date back a few years, but it isn't dead. Mike, Jim and Bill, a Beatles cover band, bring the seminal band back to life at Lake View Cemetery.
