Shop, eat, and get a tan at the Summer Market, the annual weekend shopping affair that describes itself as, "a little vintage and a little beachy." More than 50 vendors and artists will show up this year, along with Hey Mavis, a local Americana/folk band, which will perform Friday night while the vendors are still open.

Knock down a few cold ones with no remorse because it's all going toward a good cause. Krusty's Summer Sauce Camp draws thousands of revelers each year to raise funds for Malachi House, which supports the terminally ill. The 20th annual event promises all-you-can-eat barbecue, a cornhole tournament, beach volleyball and music by Chris Allen & The Lonesome Stars, Carlos Jones & the PLUS Band and RadioActive.
