Wooster Author P.L. Glaus was writing his Amish mystery novels for the Ohio University Press when national publisher Plume offered to update and republish the series. Based in Ohio's Holmes County, the books follow three "English" men that the sect welcomes in to help solve crimes, and there are plenty of those:
