Most artists craft a work before it reaches a museum, but Beat Zoderer isn't most artists. Zoderer and Cleveland Institute of Art students will spend 14 days constructing an aerial, woven art piece (similar to above work) to fit inside CIA's Reinberger Galleries. Starting March 29, the public can view the aluminum sculpture that will follow the Swiss-born artist's tradition of using ribbons of color and found objects. "He takes these materials we see in everyday life and puts them in a place of context," says Reinberger Galleries director Bruce Checefsky, "which challenges us to question the resulting picture." 11141 East Blvd., Cleveland, 216-421-7407, cia.edu
