On Tuesday, Playhouse Square announced its KeyBank Broadway Series for the 2023-2024 season, boasting a stacked lineup, including the North American launch of Back to the Future: The Musical.
The programming also marks Cleveland as one of the first destinations to show The Wiz before its brief stop on Broadway in early 2024.
According to a news release from Playhouse Square, the organization remains the largest Broadway-related venue in terms of season ticket holders — more than 44,000 annually — which President and CEO Craig Hassall credits for bringing large productions to the city earlier in their cycles.
“The passion for theater and knowledge of the industry rivals that of audiences anywhere in the world,” Hassall says in the release. “We want to continue to bring our guests the best shows and more opportunities to witness amazing performances on stage.”
Season tickets are on sale now. Check out playhousesquare.org/broadway for more info.
