New York City's Eve Andrée Laramée is one of the artists who will examine that connection with the University of Akron's Synapse Center in GroundWater: Out of Sight/Site Out of Mind at the Sculpture Center starting Nov. 4. "I've been interested in the ways in which uranium mining, production of weapons and then the clean-up of these very toxic sites impact people's health and groundwater," Laramée says of her digital print and two videos.
