You'd feel guilty about eating this burger if it were served anywhere but a winery. When the Old Mill Winery's wine burger ($8.99) is placed in front of you, you'll need to pause and take stock of what's ahead. This is a get-out-your-knife kind of burger that's doused with concord wine while still on the grill. So juicy it drips despite a heavy Kaiser roll, you'll be glad it comes with potato chips. Fries would make the whole experience too heavy. Kitchen manager Sara Froelich says her family kept the old recipe of Paul Cantwell, who ran the winery until he passed away, keeping the former steelworker and winemaker alive in spirit. She uses local vegetables right down to the pickle on the plate. Wash it all down with the Grindstone Red, a sweet wine that tastes good on its own and is amazing when served with this savory dish.
