Cowboy George doesn’t wear spurs or a Stetson. But he has been known to show up at the Kamm’s Corners Farmers Market dressed as a chile pepper. “I’m kind of a showman by nature,” says the former computer programmer who grew tired of life in a cubicle. “I use it to attract attention at the market. People are always stopping by to talk and take my picture.” A childhood love of horses earned George Seres the nickname that appears on his business card identifying him as CEO and director of deliciousness for Pzazz! Hot Sauces, Rubs & More. His company specializes in an international lineup of tongue-burning hot sauces, salsas, marinades, dips and rubs. The labels on the jars can be as entertaining as the big, bald, garrulous guy himself: Check out Crazy Jerry’s Brain Damage Hot Sauce, Hog’s Breath Blackening, Liquid Stoopid, Pappy’s Moonshine Madness and Wild Mustang salsa. Heated conversation, tastes and photo-ops are on the house.
