Flavors rotate (a dozen are available daily) and include classic European tastes such as stracciatella to the more American pecan pie and peanut butter. The latter ($3.50 for a small) is like a jar of peanut butter swirled with sweet cream. |
Made by La Gelateria on Cedar Hill, up to 12 flavors are offered daily, but there were just six when we visited. To make our taste test fair, we chose peanut butter ($2.99 for a small), which had the texture of peanut butter cup filling mixed with chocolate bits. |
Edge: A traditional approach puts Anthony's one scoop ahead. Plus, its gelato is made in-house, so you're almost always sure to find the flavor you're looking for.
