Guinness Stout
Sugar Bomb Confections may not have a permanent home, but that doesn't stop owner Diana Jankowski from making up to three varieties of marshmallows for farmers markets and events. Her Guinness Stout ($4 for a 4-ounce tub) is a fan favorite. "It's a real flavorful marshmallow," says Jankowski. "You can taste the beer but it's not pungent or overpowering."

Pineapple Black Pepper
Cleveland Flea regular Philomena Bake Shop is known for handmade confections including marshmallows in fun flavors such as pineapple black pepper ($5 for 12 marshmallows). "You get the hit of black pepper first, and then the pineapple comes in and mellows it out," says co-owner Caitlin Shea.

Vanilla Chai
Located in Lakewood, Fear's Confections makes eight flavors of marshmallows that go great in hot chocolate. We recommend the vanilla chai (50 cents each), made by folding vanilla chai tea into the marshmallow mixture. "The tea cuts the sweetness of the marshmallow a little," says owner Cassandra Fear. "It's a really nice flavor."
