Our excitement soars as high as the Eiffel Tower the moment we step inside C'est Macaron's charming 5th Street Arcades space. A sparkling bakery case, swirled with colorful rows of the delicate, wafer-thin pastries ($2 each), brightens our mood as we ponder just which option to devour. But with more than 20 fresh flavors such as lemon poppy seed, mango saffron, drunken chocolate and lavender honey, picking just one is a tall order. Co-owner Diana Byshovets expertly crafts each masterpiece with a smooth eggshell-like exterior and a creamy interior made of either rich ganache, velvety buttercream or tart jam. Regardless of what we pick, this patisserie knows how to take our taste buds to new heights. 530 Euclid Ave., Suite 18, Cleveland
