Tara Perinacci-Mash (above, middle) is undoubtedly a dog lover. You’ll find her and her feline-crazed business partner, Carrie Komandt(top, middle), at the Tremont Farmers Market selling organic pet treats under the name LilyRox. Their natural pet snacks took months of research, professional advice and taste testing (happily sampled by boxers Butch and Roxanne and kitties Lily and Ruby) to perfect. The result: a formula featuring fresh, local ingredients, including herbs and vegetables they grow themselves. “They’re soft and chewy, and everything is 100 percent edible for humans,” Perinacci-Mash says. “We’ve tried them ourselves. I think they’re fabulous, even the liver.”
