First created as a bagel replacement for Nano Brew's brunch, the everything pretzel ($6.50) from sous chef Andrew Eubyoski and executive chef Andrew Bower has found its way onto the Ohio City hot spot's lunch and dinner menus. "It's really supposed to emulate that everything bagel taste," says Bower. Before baking to chewy perfection, the hybrid bagel-pretzel snack gets dusted with everything spice — a mix of garlic and onion powder and flakes, salt, pepper, and sesame and poppy seeds. As a tribute to a childhood favorite, the pretzel dough is made fresh every morning and the end result is served with warm whipped cream cheese. "I grew up eating Bialy's Bagels on the East Side," says Bower. "That was the bagel we always had during Sunday brunch at the house."
