Forget about that frozen mystery meatloaf lurking in the back of your freezer. With Nestle’s newest line, Wildscape, popping a meal in the microwave is all about fresh, healthy and flavorful ingredients.
“We don’t believe that there should be any compromise when it comes to eating food that’s delicious, healthy and convenient,” says co-founder Emily Hoffman.
Developed over nine months as part of Nestle’s Foundry Foods innovation incubator, Wildscape offers six nature-inspired recipes in clean, modern packaging that appeals to younger customers looking for tasty options they can enjoy on the go, at their work desk or at home. Hearty choices, such as the seared steak with caramelized sweet potatoes, sorghum, red rice and pickled red onions, can be found locally at Heinen’s.
“Picture being in the Metroparks, looking around and feeling connected to nature,” says Hoffman. “That wonder is what we want to bring to people as they eat. Something that delights them, that excites them and leaves them feeling full and feeling great.”
