Oio City: The next time you head toBar Cento on a Sunday, don’t be surprised if the chefs look a little younger than usual. From 2 to 5 p.m. one Sunday a month, the Ohio City restaurant invites culinary minds-in-training to create their own pizzas at its Cook Chefin’ workshop. Adorned in tall paper hats, kids from 5 to 10 years old can load pizza dough with sauce, cheese and toppings of their liking — from the standard sausage and pepperoni to unusual options such as potatoes, meatballs and blue cheese. “They typically end up as one big, soupy pizza,” laughs sous chef Jesse Huber. “Kids love sauce.” But don’t worry, parents. Huber assures you can watch. Better yet, you don’t have to eat what they create: Adults can order off of the Bar Cento menu. “It’s something to keep the kids occupied so parents can enjoy a dinner out,” he says. 1948 W. 25th St., Cleveland, (216) 274-1010, barcento.com
